meet and greet6Students are assigned either as an interest group representative, presidential candidate, or a voter. The meet and greet is intended to serve as a dialogue between the interest groups, voters and candidates about which issues to focus on during the fictitious presidential campaign.

Campaign commercials will use one or more of the following persuasive techniques: testimonial, transfer, bandwagon, plain folks, and glittering generalities. Identify these things in your commercial: experience that qualifies the candidate to be president, why the candidate will appeal to the public, what differentiates the candidate from their opponents, and the candidate’s message.
